Victoria’s Secret Angels Reveal Secrets To Their Sexy Sculpted Thighs And Abs
By Izza Sofia, 01 Dec 2017
Victoria’s Secret models undeniably have some of the most beautiful bodies.
As they showed off their incredibly toned physiques at the lingerie brand’s annual show in Shanghai, you simply cannot resist the urge admire their amazing bodies and wonder what they do, to obtain their phenomenal physiques.
So how do they achieve those washboard abs and perfectly sculpted thighs?
Bella Hadid reveals that she forced herself to train for three hours a day in the run up to the show, but then indulged in her favourite food, pizza. She said that “nothing other than boxing and a series of targeted ab workouts” will give you washboard abs. “I’ve been working out for three hours every day. It’s crazy but I think you know if you set your mind to something, I think you can succeed.”
Lais Ribeiro took the runway by storm in this year’s $2 million fantasy bra. The Brazilian beauty shared, “I work out three to six days a week and normally around 90 minutes per workout.”
The model is famous for her love of switching up her workouts and took up pilates earlier this year. She enjoys bicep curling, cable flying and dancing her way around the fitness studios of New York. Her secret weapon? Resistance bands. She loves using them to focus on her abs, outer thighs and glutes.
This year was huge for Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrossio—after 17 years in the business, she is hanging up her wings. She insists a good night’s sleep is essential to stay youthful and the Brazilian beauty doubles her workout regime when preparing for the runway.
She likes to do yoga but swears by the Tracy Anderson Method—a customized workout programme that promises long, lean muscles and “true body happiness.”
This year marks Lily Aldridge’s ninth year in the show. The model took her personal trainer all the way to China to make sure she was in tip-top-shape.
“I work out all year long, I love to be in shape and feel good. We just ramp up the workouts closer to the show,” she said. “I work out with Ballet Beautiful founder Mary Helen Bowers six times a week, sometimes twice a day leading up to the show.”
