By Yoon Sann Wong, 06 Dec 2017
Philips has announced its new professional monitor that is—according to the brand’s product manager Artem Khomenko—“the perfect fit for graphic designers, CAD engineers, photographers, video editors and other professionals who rely on an outstanding on-screen reproduction of fine details.”
‘Philips Brilliance QHD LCD monitor with HDR P Line 32’ will be available in January 2018 at £439 in the UK and approximately US$500 when it arrives in the US.
The 32-inch display comes in 10-bit with 1.074 billion colors and 12-bit internal processing. It supports “99% Adobe RGB and 100% sRGB color gamuts” for more “consistent and true” colors.
IPS technology enables a viewing angle of the monitor of up to 178-degrees without suffering a loss in accuracy and brightness, while its usage of USB 3.1—20 times faster than USB 2.0—can charge certain laptops.
