Iconic Logos Receive A Female Makeover This International Women’s Day

Organization Creative Equals is celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day by altering several world famous logos.
This includes Pringles, Monopoly, Gett, DreamWorks and Schwarzkopf. ‘Mr Julius Pringle’, for example, has his moustache removed and a ponytail added in his makeover. Gett’s male silhouette is also replaced by that of a female.
Creative Equal hopes that this movement will highlight the enduring issue of gender inequality, and question whether, considering “89.5 percent of design directors are male”—according to Creative Equal’s founder Ali Hanan—this unconscious bias has an influence on brand identity development.
