Burger King Lets Customers Personalize Their ‘Whopper’ Using Instagram ‘Stories’

Burger King Spain has partnered with agency LOLA MullenLowe Madrid to make sure customers have it their way.
The fast food chain’s ‘Stories Campaign’ allows customers to personalize their ‘Whopper’ through Instagram ‘Stories’.
Users can pick their desired ingredients via polls in nine different ‘Stories’. After the polls are completed, users will receive a special coupon from Burger King via direct message in Instagram.
Customers were invited to redeem their customized ‘Whopper’ free-of-charge at their preferred Burger King outlet. The campaign aims to inform Burger King customers on its latest menu item called ‘The InstaWhopper’, which is made up of the most popular ingredients as indicted through the Instagram polls.
‘The InstaWhopper’ features a double patty with cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, and bacon, topped with lettuce, onion and tomatoes.
‘The InstaWhopper’ will hit outlets in Spain for a limited time only.
