Who says fried chicken has to be dipped in gold to be posh? Secret recipes of 11 herbs and spices can taste just as sumptuous.
KFC jumps on the royal wedding-themed products’ bandwagon with this posh fried chicken bucket, in honor of the union between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Seeing as how Prince Harry proposed to the American actress at home over a roast chicken dinner, the dish now holds a special place in their hearts.
“When we discovered Prince Harry proposed over a roast chicken, we simply had to show our support for the big occasion,” the brand told Mashable.
In place of KFC’s iconic red, the ‘Royal Wedding’ bucket flaunts a gold sheen and a “bespoke crest” with a “modern KFC twist.” The emblem sports an illustration of a hen with a US flag and a rooster with a UK flag to celebrate this cross-cultural milestone.
Only 50 of these collectibles will be distributed. If you’re in the UK and are feeling lucky, you might want to head down to the Windsor location on Dedworth road to have a go at receiving the limited edition packaging.
