For anyone who often gets lost in IKEA’s mazes and actually enjoys it, the Swedish furniture giant has unveiled a credit card that aims to improve your shopping experience at a fraction of the price.
The brand has launched the ‘IKEA Visa’ card, which offers perks for in-store purchases and daily expenses like dining, groceries, and utilities. The card has no annual fees, and rewards can be used to fund future IKEA purchases.
New cardholders get US$25 slashed off their first IKEA purchase. Subsequently, an accumulated spending of US$500 on third-party merchants will earn you US$25 in IKEA rewards.
Every IKEA purchase grants you 5% cashback, which can also be used for TaskRabbit constructions and installation services. Using the card to pay for everyday expenses including electricity and cell phone purchases, as well as streaming subscriptions like Spotify and Netflix, will earn you 3% in rewards. For other purchases, you’ll receive 1%.
Cardholders of the ‘IKEA Visa’ card will enjoy the same perks as IKEA Family members, such as food discounts, monthly promotions, and 90-day price protections.
From now until 31 August, new members are entitled to free standard shipping and delivery on in-store buys. Find out more about the card here.
