National Geographic Creates Limited Edition Tees Made From Trash Found At Parks

National Geographic has teamed up with The North Face for an unlikely collaboration that will draw the interests of street wearers and travelers alike.
The ‘Bottle Source Collection’ is created to preserve the nature of national parks, and it features limited edition shirts made from recycled plastic bottles found on the streams of national parks.
About 160,000 lbs of plastic bottles were collected from the streams of Yosemite, Great Smoky Mountains, and Grand Teton National Parks, before being recycled to create the tees. National Geographic will donate US$1 to the National Park Foundation for every t-shirt produced.
