Ben & Jerry’s Returns With More ‘Phish Food’, Dives Deep Into Sweet Caramel Love
By Izza Sofia, 11 Jun 2018
Ben & Jerry’s ‘Phish Food’ is one of the company’s most popular flavors, so it's no wonder that they have a sweet tooth with the American rock band.
In celebration of the band’s 21st anniversary of its charitable foundation, Ben & Jerry’s has created a new flavor made up of chocolate ice-cream mixed with marshmallow, caramel swirls and topped with fish-shaped fudge pieces.
Dubbed ‘It’s Ice… Cream’, it has a caramel malt base topped with almond toffee pieces, fish-shaped fudge with caramel swirl, making dessert lovers everywhere swoon. This creamy-crunchy ice cream is named after Phish’s 1993 hit song ‘It’s Ice’.
The packaging of the ice-cream is designed by Phish poster artist Jim Pollock, and it sees a hand-drawn design of a fish which looks like a milkman carrying bottles while standing on an iceberg.
The new flavor is available to purchase at Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops, website and select retailers. Proceeds from this sales of the ice-cream will go to Phish’s WaterWheel foundation, which champions causes such as clean water and land conservation.
