Despite it being over a year before the Wonder Woman sequel hits cinemas, fans needn’t lie in anticipation for sneaks of the film. Earlier on, you were treated to a logo that revealed its title, Wonder Woman 1984; now, Warner Bros. has teased early images hinting the outlook for the superheroine and an unexpected ally.
Director Patty Jenkins has tweeted an image of Chris Pine’s ‘Steve Trevor’, who sacrificed his life in the first movie, which was set in World War I—and for some reason or another, he’s back in the year 1984.
“Welcome to WONDER WOMAN 1984, ‘Steve Trevor’!” Jenkins wrote, as if all memory of his demise has been wiped out.
Gal Gadot, who will reprise her role as ‘Diana Price’, also shared a photo of her character standing in front of a wall of televisions.
The two will be joined by Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig. Wonder Woman 1984 is poised to reach cinemas on 1 November 2019.
