Old Spice’s Hilarious Ads Prove Grooming Is More Important Than Survival

Old Spice has released a new campaign titled ‘She Noes Best’, in tribute to the fact that most women are the ones who usually decide on and buy their man’s toiletries.
The company is known for its hilarious and memorable commercials, one of its most notable being ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like’.
This latest spot by Wieden & Kennedy Portland turns the tables and shows women in a more masculine manner compared to the men.
In one scene, a composed woman helps a bumbling male pilot land an airplane with aid from Old Spice products and makes it home in time for dinner.
Another shows a woman writing in her diary about her experiences rescuing a man from a frozen mountain, while another sees a woman creating a clever puzzle that advises her man on how to use Old Spice.
All the ads were directed by Taika Waititi of Hungry Man. Matt Krehbiel, Old Spice Associate Brand Director at Procter & Gamble, said that Old Spice recognizes the influence women have on men, including picking grooming regimens so that he can always look and smell his best.
