18-year-old Billie Eilish is now the youngest person in the history of the James Bond franchise to soundtrack a theme song for its films. Eilish recently unveiled her theme song for the latest 007 movie, No Time To Die.
The Eilish-esque track was produced by her brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas, along with Stephen Lipson. According to the press release, Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley teamed up for the orchestral arrangements.
“To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor,” the singer described. “James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”
Eilish recently made history by clutching four of the biggest prizes at the Grammy Awards this year, while being the youngest performer to do so. She took home the best new artist, record of the year, album of the year and song of the year awards.
