Garnier gets to the root of people’s hair color problems by removing the “Grey.”
In an outdoor campaign called Keep Grey Away, the L’Oreal-owned beauty company wiped out the word “Grey” from logos by the likes of Fifty Shades of Grey, Grey’s Anatomy, and Grey Goose.
Posters of the blanked-out titles were placed around the UK. The activation took place in May 2018, but images of the campaign were only published online recently.
“Most people want to stay far from gray hair,” the company explained. “Garnier removes the gray of things to make it easier.”
Needless to say, it’s totally up to you however you’d like to rock your roots. Visual artist Alexandra Grant, who is dating Keanu Reeves, loves her naturally gray hair and refuses to dye it—and still looks amazing, by the way.
