Even COVID-19 can’t stop Burger King from taking a swipe at its fast-food rival, McDonald’s.
Burger King’s restaurant in the Opéra district in Paris is situated right next to McDonald’s. To ensure that its competitor always stays in its lane, BK has unveiled a full-frontal window poster that reads, “Safety Reminder: Always maintain a one-meter distance from your neighbors.”
The ad is especially timely during this pandemic, where people are encouraged to keep a safe distance from each other. Burger King also warns its customers about Ronald McDonald’s clown features. “The key to avoiding any risk is to keep your distance from your neighbor, especially if he has a red nose,” it added.
The snarky outdoor campaign was produced together with creative agency Buzzman.
