Kanye West has apologized to his wife, Kim Kardashian, for spewing a series of controversial claims about her via his Twitter and during his in-person campaign rally.
West had accused her of attempting to have him committed, cheating on him, wanting to abort their first child, and more. However, Kardashian went on her Instagram stories to share that West has bipolar disorder and requested the public’s understanding of her husband’s behavior.
She also acknowledged that he can be subjected to criticisms for being a public figure and that “his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.” She also described him as being “brilliant but complicated.”
“Those who are close with Kanye knows his heart and understand his words some times [sic] do not align with his intentions,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram.
On Sunday, West apologized to his wife on Twitter. “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim, for going public with something that was a private matter,” he wrote in a tweet.
“I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim, I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me,” he added.
