New Horizons brings added dimension to the Animal Crossing world with even more freedom to customize. However, the default character design options aren’t as diverse as many would have liked.
As millions dive into their secondary game lives, Gillette Venus is hoping to provide more representation with a whopping selection of 250 custom design codes including 19 new skin types.
The ‘Skinclusive Summer Line’, created with graphic designer Nicole Cuddhiy, is a collection of free downloadable summery clothing that simulate real-world body and skin types, including vitiligo skin, acne, stretch marks, cellulite, birthmarks, moles and eczema, as well as a prosthetic leg.
Animal Crossing’s outfits are typically quite conservative, seeing as how it’s an age-friendly game. In New Horizons, the only swimwear available in-game are wetsuits.
With Gillette Venus’ additional designs, players can finally match their actual appearances and desire for bikinis and off-shoulder garments to their avatars.
Check out the incredible lookbook and download the custom design codes here.
