Bella Hadid blatantly called out the New York Police Department for going maskless in a couple of Instagram stories.
In the first story, Hadid could be seen standing in the streets of New York City, wearing a black crop top and a jacket with black pants and a crossbody bag.
Most importantly, she wore a mask covering her mouth and nose to protect herself from COVID-19.
The photo also included five cops in the background without face masks on. “Hi @nypd, masks are for all of our safety, not just [yours],” Hadid wrote in the story, tagging the Instagram account of the police department.
In the second Instagram story, Hadid posed in front of three cops, who were not following the social distancing measures. In the blur photo, the model appeared to be flipping them off.
“Wear a mask,” she wrote in capital letters on the photo. “[You] guys look goofy.”
Hadid’s public service announcement is loud and clear, and it echoes the Centers for Disease and Control’s basic guidelines: wear a mask and practice social distancing.
