Vans and The Museum of Modern Art have teamed up once again for the second launch of their artistic merchandise collection.
This time around, the capsule spotlights vibrant artworks by four artists: Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock, Lyubov Popova, and Faith Ringgold.
Paying homage to the artists, Vans’ sneakers have been decked with designs like Munch’s renowned 1895 work The Scream, Pollock’s One: Number 31, and Popova’s 1917 Untitled work.
Ringgold is the only living artist to be featured in the line, so she personally worked with both Vans and MoMA to bring her artwork to life. She reworked two of her posters—Woman Free Yourself and Freedom Woman Now—on the left and right sides of her collaborative sneakers.
The Vans x MoMA footwear is priced from US$18 to US$90, with a scheduled drop date on 11 November 2020. Take a look the collection below.
