Tile’s New Cat Tracker Keeps Your Feline From Getting Lost Around The House

Unlike dogs, cats easily slip in and out of little spaces around the house. One moment they could be bugging you for food, and the next, they’re gone, only for you to find them stuck in some corner or up a shelf too scared to climb down.
 
Tile, the company that has made keeping track of your phone and wallet easier, is tackling adventure-seeking pets with a new Tile for Cats.
 
The attachment is an upgraded version of the Tile Sticker that now comes as a collar attachment and a Bluetooth range of 250 feet. In addition, it has a three-year battery life and offers integration with Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, just in case you want to find your four-legged friend with just a voice command.

The sticker is attached to most cat collars, including breakaway collars 3/8 and 3/4 inches wide. It is also water-resistant, just in case your fluff ball gets stuck in the shower.

The gadget, compatible with iOS and Android, can be used with or without a Tile Premium membership. Those with Life360 can see their furry friend on their ‘Circle’, and other family members on the same account can also keep watch of it.

Unfortunately, the tracker only works if your cat happens to lose its way around your house. Its limited range doesn’t cover more adventurous journeys into the neighborhood. You might be better off microchipping or getting a more dedicated pet locater if you’re worried about losing them.
