2005 - 2006 P&G/IDSA Interdisciplinary Student Design Collaborative
Procter & Gamble (P&G) and IDSA have developed an educational collaborative whose goal is to expand the horizon of design curricula into truly interdisciplinary programs. This program is intended to help prepare students for a professional environment in which design success depends upon working with an array of disciplines to craft business cases and build brand architectures that provide satisfying consumer experiences.
The project theme is, "The Aging Consumer," a group whose needs are relevant in markets around the globe. Such consumers include women, men and couples.
All National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accredited programs are invited to submit proposals for projects that reach beyond the borders of industrial and graphic design and form partnerships with an array of disciplines. In Europe, schools listed by ICSID and ICOGRADA are invited to follow the same proposal format.
