DBA: Charging Cilents Enough?
To mark the launch of the 2006 DBA Charge-out Rates & Salary Report the association is holding an interactive evening which will help companies benchmark their charge-out fees and salaries against the rest of the design industry

Industry experts Gary Baxter, former financial director at The Partners, and Jonathan Kirk, former head of business development at Fitch, will analyse the financial data of three companies, highlighting opportunities for them to become more profitable.

The interactive element of the evening being held on October 3 to mark the launch of the Design Business Association's report on charge out rates will follow a short summary of the report from Mandy Merron, Partner, Willott Kingston Smith

By studying key performance indicators supplied by the three companies Gary will identify issues that will need to be addressed by the company if they wish to become more profitable. He will explain how other agencies can analysis easily obtainable figures from their business to illustrate their shortfalls and strengths.

Jonathan will then offer suggestions on how the issues that have been identify can be addressed.

The event will help to resolve issues such as peer performance, why salary bills seem to be out of kilter with your fee rates, and how to raise fees with loyal clients.
