HELSINKI- Nokia's Director of Design Strategy, Marko Ahtisaari, has left the group for personal reasons, having only taken up the role in January.

'I am moving abroad to work outside the Nokia group,' Ahtisaari told the online edition of Finnish business weekly Talouselama.

'I will tell more about this challenging project in the near future.'

Ahtisaari's successor is Kurt Walecki, who currently works for Nokia's design unit.
