Adobe Appoints Vice President, Asia Pacific
Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced the appointment of Julian Quinn as vice president, Asia Pacific.

In this role, Quinn is responsible for developing business opportunities, forging strategic alliances and increasing Adobe's customer focus across the entire Asia Pacific region which includes China, Hong Kong, India, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. His experience in enterprise and channel sales will help drive customer adoption of Adobe software solutions and maximize growth opportunities in Adobe's traditional and emerging markets.

"The Asia Pacific region represents an important market for Adobe," said Shantanu Narayen, Adobe president and chief operating officer. "Julian's leadership skills and broad experience in international business management will further develop Adobe's focus on customers and bolster the company's presence in this important region."

Prior to joining Adobe, Quinn was vice president of Asia Pacific for Borland, where he was responsible for leading all Asia Pacific operations. From 1998 to 2001, he was vice president of South Pacific for BEA Systems, the world's leading application infrastructure software company. He has also held positions as managing director of Netscape Australasia and director of sales at Novell Australasia. Quinn holds a post graduate degree from the University of New England, New South Wales, Australia.
