A special design for the Museum's admission ticket created by artist Peter Kogler. Printed with computer-generated ants, the ticket is related to his wallpaper Untitled (1992), a work that is prominently featured at the entrance to the exhibition. The ticket will be issued beginning October 15, 2006.
A paper shopping bag featuring a work by David Shrigley. Based on a woodcut from Shrigley's portfolio Untitled (2005), the bag will be available in MoMA Stores beginning October 15, 2006. In addition, a vinyl tote bag of the same design will be on sale for $25 in MoMA Stores beginning November 1, 2006.
Eye on Europe: Prints, Books & Multiples/1960 to Now identifies major developments in the mediums of prints, books, and multiples in Europe over the past 45 years and is the first museum exhibition to explore this highly significant but lesser-known facet of contemporary art. It is on view at The Museum of Modern Art from October 15, 2006 through January 1, 2007, and is organized by Deborah Wye, The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Chief Curator, and Wendy Weitman, Curator, Department of Prints and Illustrated Books, The Museum of Modern Art.
