announces the winners (and losers) of its Spring 2007 Fashion Wars.
'Fashion Wars' is an interactive feature in ZOOZOOM -- The Original Online Glossy -- where viewers vote for their favorite outfits by America's top designers. The contest featuring 84 Designers, 2000 outfits and 27 categories.
Michael Kors took top billing with his sleek, plunging V-neck sweater and matte jersey skirt, cinched with his wide signature belt, all in nude.
"It's classic all-American Kors," said ZOOZOOM Editor-in-Chief Kelley Quan. The biggest surprise came from little known Patrick Rzepski who was third behind Tracy Reese. Showing for only the second time, Rzepski's demonstrated the democracy of Fashion Wars with a simple grey jersey dress Quan describes as "effortless sophistication."
While the winning outfits featured clean lines the voters rejected outfits that were overly garish and complicated. The most surprising loser (third from bottom) was Marc Jacobs. His silver 'trench' caught the voter's attention but didn't capture their vote. "Silver is massive for accessories this spring," said Quan, "but maybe a whole coat is too much."
