Brandwidth World Records
PRESS RELEASE

Guinness World Records have appointed Brandwidth to design and develop the new creative and technical front end for their main website. In an unprecedented move, all four pitch routes were chosen for development and we will be applying them over the next 8 months.

Each route, or theme, focuses on different promotional campaigns throughout the year. The site will launch with the generic theme, followed by creative executions that tie in with GWR Day, new cinema advertising and seasonal marketing initiatives. We have developed a consistent site structure that allows the overall look to change whilst maintaining a commonality that retains the GWR branding and character.

This project has allowed us to extend our working relationship with GWR. Our previous work on last year's X Games promotion gave us a valuable insight into the business of record breaking. From a designer's point of view this is the ideal brief as the subject matter is so varied and enables the full range of skills at Brandwidth to shine through.

We have also produced a set of flash eyeblasters to promote the new site before during and after the launch. The all new Guinness World Records site is now live at www.guinnessworldrecords.com and was launched at the beginning of October to coincide with the 2007 book launch.
