A pop up parade, a pumping bar and a performance from The Presets kicks off Sportsgirl's involvement at this year's L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival on Tuesday March 6.Popping up for a 10 minute teaser runway in the heart of the city, Sportsgirl will give a snapshot of Autumn/Winter looks before packing up and relocating to the Museum Plaza for a well-earned drink in the Sportsgirl Container Bar.
Taking the form of an industrial sculpture and created entirely out of empty water containers, (any water used will be grey water), it will include a well-stocked bar, dance floor, stage, DJ booth and multi-media panels which will feature fashion footage during The Presets live performance. Hot DJ duo Riot in Belgium will also hit the decks to keep everyone dancing.I Like Fashion.I Like it Loud. I Like Sportsgirl's Best.
The Sportsgirl Container Bar launches with a VIP night on Tuesday 6 March and is open to the public on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 March from 6pm.
