BOSTON--Aquent Graphics Institute (AGI), an Aquent firm that provides training, consulting, and support relating to print, Web, video, and mobile publishing, announced that it has partnered with the Creative Professional Association to deliver the CRE8 conference for creative, marketing, and communications professionals. The CRE8 conference will be held at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla., May 9-10, 2007, in coordination with AGI's fifth annual Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference.
"CRE8 is a natural evolution of the Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference," said Christopher Smith, president of AGI. "As the use of PDF has grown, creative, communications, and marketing professionals were flocking to the Adobe Acrobat & PDF conference and seeking more information about print, Web, video, and mobile publishing. CRE8 was developed to take the Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference to a new level, which will help inspire and improve creative, marketing, and communications professionals' understanding of creative technology."
The Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference occurs on the same days as the CRE8 conference, and attendees can now attend sessions in both events. The combined conference boasts eighty sessions with eight creative, design, and technology tracks. Featured speakers include Al Gore and top creative executives from Disney and Google, as well as representatives from Apple who will provide hands-on product training. Additionally, attendees will be able to interact with design, publishing, and creative technology experts at numerous networking events and gain a better understanding of creative tools, techniques, and technologies.
"The Creative Professional Association is excited to work with AGI. Together, we're able to offer expanded content and a truly compelling event to our attendees," said Mike Silverman, executive director of the Creative Professional Association.
More than a dozen developers of creative software and hardware technologies are sponsoring or exhibiting at the event. The exhibit area provides unique opportunities for attendees to meet the conference sponsors, learn more about specific products and services, and gain firsthand knowledge and experience with newly developed solutions. Additionally, pre- and post-conference training sessions providing in-depth technical training for software developers, technical professionals, and end-users on a variety of relevant topics, will be offered on May 8 and May 11.
