NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Behind every article in The New York Times there is a journalist who wrote the story. Beginning Saturday, March 24 at 10 p.m., every week New Yorkers can hear what some of them have to say about their process and the stories they write by watching "The New York Times Close Up."
Hosted by The Times's urban affairs correspondent Sam Roberts, "The New York Times Close Up" will feature an hour of in-depth interviews, video segments and discussions with reporters from various sections of the paper. While the main focus of the show will be to preview the Sunday Times, the journalists will also look back at the New York City-centric stories that appeared throughout the week.
"All of us at The Times are proud to return to NY1 News and to reestablish our successful collaboration, which we launched when the newschannel was born 15 years ago," said Mr. Roberts. "Our expanded and enhanced weekly program, 'The New York Times Close Up' offers New Yorkers a unique insight into the broad range of stories that affect them and into The Times and the reporters, editors and photographers who produce it."
