The Berlinale is going on tour: Turin and the Piedmont Region are presenting a selection of this year's festival programme from March 9 to 11. For three days, everything at the Cinema Massimo in Piedmont's capital will revolve around the Berlin Bear. During the "Berlinale a Torino" a total of eight films from the 57th Berlin International Film Festival will be screened. "I am pleased that Turin, a city of great film-historical significance, will be our host again", says Berlinale director Dieter Kosslick.
In cooperation with the organiser, Voir Trade srl, the Berlinale has put together a programme of films from the Competition, Berlinale Special and Panorama sections specifically for Turin. The "Berlinale a Torino" is supported by the Piedmont Region, the Film Commission Turin Piedmont, the National Museum of Cinema and the Goethe Institute.
The "Berlinale a Torino" will kick off with a screening of When A Man Falls In The Forest and the event will close on March 11 with a showing of Day On Fire.
