KODAK i1860 Scanner Captures GCN Best of FOSE 2007 Honors

PRESS RELEASE

ROCHESTER, N.Y., For the third consecutive year, Eastman Kodak Company's Document Imaging business captured honors at FOSE 2007, the government's largest gathering of information technology professionals. The KODAK i1860 Scanner, the newest member of Kodak's market-leading production portfolio, garnered a GCN Best of FOSE award in the scanner category.

The FOSE awards program recognizes the most innovative and well-designed new products used in government IT.

"The federal government spends more than $75 billion annually on information technology, so industry pays close attention. This made choosing this year's Best of FOSE products very difficult," said Wyatt Kash, editor in chief of GCN. "The editors looked for product innovation particularly suited to the public sector, and we were not disappointed. Participating companies showcased new ways for government to operate more efficiently, safeguard our country, and move our national agenda forward."

All about maximizing productivity, the KODAK i1860 Scanner is the fastest production scanner offered by Kodak. Capturing images at up to 200 pages per minute, it offers a variety of ergonomic features including a user height-adjustable base to maximize productivity while either sitting or standing. An intuitive color touch-screen display simplifies on-the-fly performance by putting a variety of controls at the operator's fingertips and the scanner has the capability of pre-scan or post-scan printing.
