Established to expand Miami Art Museum's permanent collection only two years ago, MAM's Collectors Council has already donated a rich group of high-quality, cutting-edge artworks to the museum's collection. Since its inception, the Collectors Council has purchased works by a number of established and emerging artists. This exhibition features art by Cory Arcangel, Shimon Attie, María Magdalena Campos-Pons, Nathan Carter, Anna Gaskell, Mark Handforth, Arturo Herrera, Sarah Morris, Wangechi Mutu, Rivane Neuenschwander, Damián Ortega, Gavin Perry, Raymond Pettibon and Lorna Simpson. Collectors Council Acquisitions provides audiences with the perfect opportunity to see firsthand the distinguished works that the Council has added to MAM's collection.
