Sterling Consulting Corporation -- one of the Midwest's premier issue management, public relations and campaign consulting companies -- today named Doug Dubin Creative Director, where he will provide strategic oversight and creative direction on behalf of the firm's clients.

Prior to joining Sterling, Dubin worked with a strategic communications and media consulting firm in Washington as the executive producer of its full-service media production company, Red October Productions. Under Dubin's leadership, Red October produced dozens of television spots, radio ads, and films for the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2004, including award-winning short film, "Free and Peaceful," which was broadcast during primetime at the 2004 Republican National Convention.
That same year, he worked directly with federal and statewide campaigns in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and, Pennsylvania, and produced numerous Pollie Award-winning television spots, long format films, and web ads. Dubin previously worked as a researcher and writer for an Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. He later established his own company providing communications consulting and production services for clients such as the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Television, the History Channel, and several national trade associations.
Dubin earned a Master of Arts degree in film from American University in Washington, D.C., and a BA in History from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. He currently resides in Ann Arbor, Mich.
