COMPETITION
This event will take place in Fuerteventura between 8 and 13 July 2007 and is organised by Fundación Vitalia, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and La Laguna University. The central theme of this edition of Campus de Excelencia is Africa and its future.
The current situation in the continent of Africa is unsustainable, unequal and unfair. Campus 07 aims to speak out for equality of opportunities in Africa, a horizon of solutions and projects with future, with a focus combining academic, business and social factors that represents a modern vision from Africa and for Africa.
The contents of the Campus of Excellence will be based on four overarching themed areas.

20 Nobel Prize winners, over 50 world leaders, 100 of the best postgraduate students from the top international universities and schools, and 400 participants who want to share an experience of value, knowledge and excellence.

The structure of the Campus of Excellence, featuring 32 "Simultaneous Forums", 4 "Plenary sessions", 5 "Master Conferences", workshops, a "Meeting and Relations Area" for enterprises, institutions and professionals, an "Exhibition" for ideas, enterprises and excellent experiences, and also a detailed cultural and leisure programme makes this a unique place for learning, teaching, interacting and revealing your achievements and concerns to the wider world.
