HP today announced that its HP Business Process Testing software earned a 2007 Codie Award in the "Best Business Software Solution" category from the Software & Information Industry Association.
The award honors the solution that best exemplifies the value that software provides to business operations.
HP Business Process Testing software enables collaboration between quality assurance teams and business analysts - the people most knowledgeable about business processes - by allowing them to play an active role in the application quality process. It is a complete system for functional test case design for both automated and manual testing.
The software is part of HP Quality Center, an integrated set of software, services and best practices for automating key application quality activities, including requirements management, test management, defect management, functional testing and business process testing.
"Leading IT professionals use quality management software from HP Software to make sure their critical applications are ready to deliver intended business outcomes before going live," said Jonathan Rende, vice president, products, Software, HP. "The Codie awards represent the combined opinion of industry insiders and knowledgeable analysts, and it is an honor to have our efforts recognized by our peers."
For more than 20 years, the Codie Awards have held the distinction of being the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry, providing a unique opportunity for companies to earn the praise of their competitors.
