The bookstore Artazart (83, quai de Valmy, 75010) in Paris will be hosting an exhibition by French designer Seb Jarnot from May 24 - June 25, 2007. You are invited to meet the artists at his opening on May 24 starting at 7 PM.
He creates stunningly fresh illustrations that are simultaneously contemporary and timeless. While his style is minimal, a few well-placed lines radiate dynamism and movement. This solo show will be his first in France and will show a selection of new works which explore boundaries of graphic design, illustration and artistic experimentation. Capturing the personal and almost intimate quality of his art, dgv published a small size book in 2004 to showcase Jarnot's work, Seb Jarnot 3 x 7 = 15.
Seb Jarnot's talent has already been recognized in acclaimed projects such as the international advertising campaign that he did for Nike. In addition to creating various covers for French electronica label F Communication, Jarnot is also featured in numerous dgv publications including Supersonic, Sonic, Illusive, All Allure, This Gun is Fore Hire, Romantik and Übersee 1.
