Two of the newest scanners in Eastman Kodak Company's Document Imaging portfolio have been named as finalists in The 5th Annual American Business Awards.
Both the KODAK i1860 Scanner and the KODAK Scan Station 100 are finalists in a sub-category of Best New Products and Services. This year's competition received more than 2,000 nominations for consideration in more than 40 categories. Winners will be announced June 11 during an awards gala in New York.
"Last year's efforts to further strengthen not only our growing distributed capture scanner line, but also our market-leading production scanners clearly did not go unnoticed," said Dolores Kruchten, General Manager, Document Imaging, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. "We are honored to be recognized for the innovation and quality of our document imaging products, and for the value those products bring to our customers every day as part of their digital document solutions."
The KODAK Scan Station 100 was launched in March 2006, followed by the KODAK i1860 Scanner in October. All about maximizing productivity, the i1860 Scanner is the fastest production scanner Kodak offers. Capturing images at up to 200 pages per minute, it offers a variety of ergonomic features including a user height-adjustable base for use while either sitting or standing. The Scan Station 100 is an easy-to-use, multi-purpose device that enables multiple users to digitally share documents within any network environment via e-mail, in network folders, or through networked printers or copiers.
