Design Event is an annual festival in the North East providing the public with an opportunity to see cutting edge work by regional, national and international design talent. It also provides designers in the region with a platform to showcase their work and profiles the North East as a creative hub of designers and creators.
DE07 will take place between 11th-28th October.
The film & new media curators Cinefeel are currently putting together a video programme for screening at the Baltic Contemporary Arts Centre.
Cinefeel are inviting filmmakers and animators to send in work which has something to say on the subject of this year's DE07 theme of "How do we want to live?".
From the work screened in the programme, the organisers and festival partners will choose an overall winner who'll receive a £500 cash prize and the winning piece will be profiled on the site of DE07's media partner E-CR (the downloadable edition of Creative Review).
Deadline for entries is August 10th 2007.
