If you looked into the ‘Mirror of Erised’ and saw the Harry Potter edition of ‘Pokémon Go’, your deepest yearnings are about to come true.

Niantic, the makers of ‘Pokémon Go’, has revealed that ‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ is slated for launch in 2018. To make the game possible, the company has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

According to Niantic’s press release, the augmented reality mobile game will see ‘Potterheads’ exploring real-world locations and casting spells. They’ll also be able to collect rare artifacts and meet legendary beasts.

“With this game, we are allowing the passionate, worldwide fan base to experience J.K. Rowling’s deeply powerful and imaginative universe in a new, truly immersive way,” explains David Haddad, the President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

“It is wonderful to have Niantic’s remarkable augmented reality expertise as we develop this incredibly rich wizarding world for players to explore in their everyday lives.”

No other details about the gameplay have been disclosed, and you’ll have to wait till Niantic’s next announcement in 2018 to learn more. If only you had ‘Hermione’s ‘Time Turner’.

Watch out, ‘Muggles’, witches and wizards will soon be taking the world by storm.
