CNN Takes Aim At President Trump With A Case Of Apples In Brilliant New Ad

CNN’s latest ‘Facts First’ advertisement appears to openly troll and mock President Trump over special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russia.

“This is an apple,” the promo begins, with an apple on a white background. “And this is an apple,” the narrator continues.

“And this is an apple. And when you put them all together, you’ve got a case,” it cleverly concludes, with subtle insinuations intended in its advertisement.

CNN first kicked off its ‘Facts First’ campaign last October. Its first ad has also indirectly targeted the president, in an open show of subtle defiance against his administration.

“This is an apple,” a narrator begins on its first ad that launched in October.

“Some people might try to tell you that it’s a banana. They might scream ‘banana, banana, banana’ over and over and over again. They might put BANANA in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is a banana. But it’s not. This is an apple.”

The series of ads are an obvious dig at Trump’s “alternative facts” and constant cries of “fake news” directed at news organizations, which have become joke fodder internationally.
