Target Launches New Eclectic In-House Home Decor Brand Inspired By Travel
Target is introducing
a new home decor line. The superstore announced on Tuesday that it will launch Opalhouse, a globally inspired collection of furniture and decorative accessories.
Opalhouse will be
Target’s more eclectic, collected line, offering colorful, unique pieces inspired by travel.
Target’s design team
went to Lisbon, Faris, Mallorca and Aix-en-Provence to gather inspiration to create this line of eclectic pieces. The line includes richly textured pillows and throws in jewel-tone hues and original paintings and artworks made by Target designers while they were hunting for inspiration around the world.
“Not only are
our guests responding to the individual brands, but the new brands are driving traffic and sales across the entire store,” said Mark Tritton, chief merchandising officer at Target.

available in all Target stores and on Target.com beginning April 8. Prices generally range from $1.99 to $30.
