Fox Releases ‘Vampire’ Posters That Burst Into Flames Under Sunlight
A longstanding theory
about vampires is that they are likely to burn when exposed to sunlight. Fox
stays extremely faithful to the idea with an apt teaser for its upcoming vampire-themed television series.
creative agency BETC/Havas
, the network developed a special poster that goes up in flames once it catches sunlight. The aim of the ‘The Vampire Poster’ is to promote Fox
’s upcoming television series, The Passage
, which, of course, is about vampires.
A special paint
is mixed together with potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid before being smeared on the visuals, which are then housed in a transparent box and placed on the streets of São Paulo.

perfectly normal at night, but when morning arrives and the sun comes into contact with them, they burst into flames, suffering the same fate as vampires.
