Microsoft is further delving into the new artificial intelligence sphere by introducing a ‘Copilot’ that will create presentations, format Excel sheets, and even keep you updated on everyday happenings in the company.
The AI system is coming to every productivity app under its roster, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and more.
The main purpose of this tool is to act as an assistant that can help you reduce your workload and manage your tasks. In one instance, it was requested to generate a “10-slide presentation from the press release,” and it produced a complete deck for the user. Additionally, Copilot was tasked with drafting notes for a forthcoming meeting and public speeches in a different scenario.
If you need, the feature can also format anything you need to write according to official company standards, or it can also add touches to your speech or project to make it sound more like you.
Excel can pull up a whole data spreadsheet for you, create PivotTables, and analyze trends.
On top of all this is that the assistant can be fully integrated into an organization. This means you can ask for information on new hires, see who is out of the office, and update your team on the progress of different projects.
A closed preview mode has been released to certain business partners, with a wider release set to come along in the coming months, along with pricing details.
