Called the Yumemiru, meaning ‘Dream’, the free app uses microphones to detect when the user in in REM sleep—the point at night when you begin dreaming and are most susceptible to suggestion.
Before going to bed, the user can choose from 8 different scenarios, from talking a walk in the forest, flying, getting rich and even being in love.
The app then detects when the user have entered REM sleep at which point, the app’s soundtrack will begin to stimulate the user's dreams.
The next morning, users can choose to share their dreams with others via the Facebook or Twitter feature on the app.
Talk about inception.
