YSL Launches Facebook Fans-Only Makeup Line

If you’re not yet a Facebook fan of French brand Yves Saint Laurent Fragrances & Beauty, it might be a good time to get on the bandwagon.
YSL—in collaboration with PANTONE and Facebook—will be launching a beauty product line exclusively for it’s the fashion house’s fans on the social networking site.
The ‘Devoted to Fans’ product line will begin with a limited edition ‘PANTONE Facebook’ palette that only 1,650 fans will be able to snag.
The move is in a bid to “have a complete and global vision of digital—to separate [the brand] from a completely internet-orientated vision and to really digitalize all points of contact,” according to YSL’s marketing and digital director Carla de Préval, in an interview with FrenchWeb.fr.
