Smartphone-Controlled Suitcase Follows You Around, Frees Your Hands
By Dorothy Tan, 09 Oct 2012
Created by Spanish designer Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez to free up the hands of travelers, the ‘Hop’ is a smartphone-controlled suitcase that follows users around.
Containing three sensors, the small suitcase is linked to the smartphone by a Bluetooth signal and rolls along on two caterpillar tracks to keep up with the traveler.
If the signal is lost, Hop will lock itself and alert the user with a phone vibration.
