Nevertheless, contrary to what clients think, even designers need to eat.
So forget about the mistakes of the past—learn from them and never let them repeat.
From hereon forth, when dealing with someone difficult, apply the Rule of Three and tell them ever-so-politely that, “If it's good and nice, it can't be cheap. If it's nice and cheap, it can't be good; and if it's good and cheap it cannot be nice.”
