Mozilla Unveils New Japan-Based ‘Open-Source’ Office
By Anthea Quay, 02 Jul 2013
In collaboration with Japan-based design firm Nosigner, developer of open-source browser Firefox, Mozilla, has unveiled its new office in Japan.
The ‘Mozilla Factory’ is based on the idea of ‘open-source’—a movement that gives anyone unrestricted access to source codes of softwares and the likes, which aims to continuously improve the original source.
Building on this philosophy, Nosigner created an original set of furniture, and also made its drawings and blueprints “open-source’—thus, anyone can make the same furniture.
