A Pair Of Anti-Rape Underpants That Only The Wearer Can Remove
By Thia Shi Min, 05 Nov 2013
Rape has been an issue that has been discussed in many media outlets this year. The company AR Wear has decided to help prevent rape by making a pair of underpants that only its wearer can remove.
Designed with a reinforced skeletal structure that cannot be ripped or cut away, this pair of underwear is also equipped with a webbing feature around the waist and thighs for extra protection.
There are also adjustable thigh straps which the user can lock in place, making it very difficult for the leg openings to be shifted.
For added security, the waist strap also functions similarly, with a lock that can be secured using clock hand positions.
The company has already made running shorts with this mechanism, but would like to make a range of undergarments so that women can feel safe at all times.
