WWF Cooks A Meal On The 'Hot Stove' Street To Spread Global Warming Message
By Loke Shi Ying, 22 Feb 2014
Paraguay-based advertising agency Oniria\TBWA has created a brilliant experiential campaign for WWF, by making full use of weather conditions and a crowded street in Asunción, the captial city of Paraguay.
If you have ever heard of the saying “So hot, you could fry an egg”, you will resonate with this campaign that aims to spread the message of global warming to the citizens of Paraguay.
Partnering with famous chef Rodolfo Angenscheidt, Oniria\TBWA and the WWF held an outdoor cooking event where dishes were prepared as the chef put a pan to the street ground to cook raw food.
The entire event might seem really fun and ingenious, but it has a serious message behind it—Paraguay’s forests have depleted by 80% over the past 50 years, and it is time for some change.
