Perfumes Inspired By Authors & Books, Housed In Charming Old-School Bottles
By Amanda Mok, 27 Mar 2014
Perfumer Josh Meyer has teamed up with artist Ashod Simonian to create the perfume collection, ‘Imaginary Authors’, that is packed with personality.
Each scent is based on a fictitious author that Meyer thought up, their lives, personalities and stories. For example, one of the perfumes, ‘The Soft Lawn’, was written by ‘Claude LeCoq’ while he was “attending Princeton University” has notes of ivy leaves, fresh tennis balls and clay court.
The charming old-school collages that serves as the bottle labels were custom-made by Simonian to fit the personality of the authors and their inspired scents.
